COSTUMES ARE THE WORST
For the planet, that is. Halloween costumes in particular are designed to be single use...made from the cheapest plastic materials and shoddily put together
And that's why we are BIG fans of turning our trash into treasure...by up-cycling it into AMAZING Halloween costumes for our kiddos!
LEAF IT TO ME
I love this because it's adorable, easy and 100% bio-degradable. Plus your kiddo will have tons of fun searching for the most colorful leaves!

CARDBOARD COUTURE
Cardboard is ubiquitous, easy to work with, and the possibilities are endless as to what you can create with it. Oh, plus it's recyclable AND biodegradable!

MAUI
Jessica used the leaves from a silk plant she no longer wanted, thrifted a flower lei and made the CUTEST Maui costume for her guy.
MAYTAG MAVEN
Beya Made stitcher-in-chief Sarah looked no further than her laundry room for inspiration. I love this box-turned-dryer costume!
The grand prize winner has got to be Laura, who re-purposed her un-recyclable Blue Apron box insulator into a robot costume. HIGH-FIVING A MILLION ANGELS, LAURA!!!
